Alec & Raven’s Safari I do’s

I had been looking forward to Alec and Raven’s wedding for the past year and their game lodge venue made the most amazing backdrop for this truelly special event! They had back to back weddings on two different continents to be able to celebrate with all their friends and family! So much detail went into this wedding! So much joy mixed with traditional african singing, what more could you possibly want! And finally of course my favourite part of the day, my time with the couple! – with Raven Kleynhans, Alec Kleynhans, Jana Pohl and Ulrike Drake at Mafigeni’s Embrace Africa Safaris.

Jaco & Yolanda: Walking with Elephants

Yolanda decided to surprise her fiancé Jaco with his dream adventure of walking with the elephants and together we decided that this would be the perfect opportunity to do their pre-session as they were getting married in October at Mac Country venue! Thank you so much to Elephant Sanctuary, Hazyview SA for everything it was such a treat!After the walk we got some personal time with the big guys and worked in a semi-styled session. I just adore this part of the country and thank you Casper for not eating my flowers although I know you were sorely tempted! MUAH: Belle Violette

 Since I was a little girl I have been inlove with the story of Swan Lake and even more so since I saw the Moscow Ballet perform when I was at university so it was about time for me to take on this giant challenge as a styled session.

As you will see everything about this session is just mind blowingly gorgeous with stunning dresses and amazing ballet themed make up. We even had some feathery themed stationery!

The little leaky row boat made one of my fantasies of the past two years come true accompanied by an abundance of fresh flowers and even the bad weather could not get us down as it created the exact dreamy effect I wanted for some fantastic images.

Pearl Harbour Inspired Session

Here is definitely one of my favourite shoots of the year as I am all about vintage! I can’t wait for this wedding next year! This was of course our winning couple from the competition that was held earlier this year by myself and Lieflingkind Design!

When I asked Joalette what their favourite movie was she replied whithin seconds “Pearl Harbour” and that is when I knew that this was going to be an epic shoot.

With vintage flair and a modern twist we used fur and Driekus borrowed Joalette’s dad’s millitary uniform to make it perfect and we even got to use the airport as our location.

I loved the way these two fell into character and acted their parts and I even got a chance to be a part of it by doing the hair and make-up.
